In typical style for me, I have injured myself. It seems I went out too hard and too fast with my running and have strained some tendons in my right foot. My weekend will now consist of sitting on the couch icing my foot every couple of hours. Bah humbug
My running program used to consist of 5 runs per week; 4 runs of 5.7km and 1 run of 3.7km. I’m thinking of scaling it back to 4 runs per week; 3 runs of 3.7km and 1 of 5.7km. However, the big test will be going for a run of 3km on Tuesday and seeing how my foot holds up. Hopefully it will be fine, because I’m already going crazy with doing no running at all.
